Thank You Notes
I saw this article online (link below) and thought it interesting. And a bit convicting as I like writing thank yous, appreciate getting them, value them as a practice in general for good “character” reasons, and frankly haven’t done much ‘thanking’ in the past few years since having kids. We haven’t written much lately online because of many visitors over Christmas and New Year’s, and the general hustle and bustle of this time of year. We are now home from a week’s vacation in Stowe with my (Melanie’s) parents and focussing on our annual Christmas (ok, new year’s) letter which we finished writing last night and this morning, and - yes - thank yous for the all the wonderful gifts we received. If you gave us a gift and we haven’t thanked you, please know that it’s either on the way, or we may never get to it honestly, but the gifts are always appreciated. We’re just not very organized. 
We’ll be working on that for some time I think.
