Blogging

I really don’t have much time to spend online and lately that “not much” has been “almost none” for what we’ll term as pleasure use (vs. necessary use).

I will confess (or share for your enjoyment?!) that occasionally, there is a site I like to visit. I found it back in January looking for a coupon code for CBD books (she had one posted there and I gratefully put it to good use). It’s well worth reading and I just enjoyed catching up with it again. I try to remember to check it out weekly when I can and so much of what she shares there is an encouragement to me, so I’ll pass it on if you too want to visit and “meet” her and her family (or simply be blessed by what you find there!). To get to her site, type (minus the quotes) “inashoe” then a dot then “blogspot” then another dot and then “com”. (You may be wondering why I don’t just type it out - it relates somehow to not drawing too much attention to a person’s personal site - like ours. Just email me if you have no idea how to get to her site from what I said and you want to.)

I admit that of the last week’s worth of entries, I could really relate to the ones about sick kids (we have been sick again, yes), wanting Mommy to do it (sounds like my L!), feeding the 8-month old (they are smart, these babies are, and our J is so quick to learn things too!), and pairing kids up (what great suggestions). But the most encouraging one was from 3/7, entitled “His hand in the hard times”. And the one that made me laugh the most was the one just below it about saving caps (the comment about the shoes had me guffawing and Steve thought I’d lost my marbles, he had no idea what was so funny).

Now back to my home and my reality. In the past two weeks, we have crossed a few thresholds and we now have a 40 year old and a 3 year old in our home. Gma and Gpa T were here today and will be back tomorrow to celebrate the recent bdays (that was fun - cake and gifts to enjoy together!). I miss my 2-yr old (hard to believe she’s gotten so big already!) and my 40 yr old has gone to bed he’s so tired now he’s “over the hill”. Oh well. Time to go find a good book now that I’m done “blogging” and join him. Good night!
