Gifts in a Jar
I’m sure many of you reading this have received a gift in a jar. You know, the cool ball canning jars filled with pretty layered ingredients that you add something to (usually something simple) to create a meal or dessert. They’re fun. We were given one this year as a Christmas gift from a neighbor - very pretty I might add and very appreciated - that we finally (yes, finally!) ate for dinner last night. It was called “parsley pesto spaghetti”. I really liked it so I tried to find it online so I knew what the ingredients that were in the jar were (not just those I had to add). I found a great website that included this recipe (I recommend it!) along with many, many others. There was another site like it too with lots and lots of recipes (including the one). Thought I’d share it here since I know we are always looking for fun gifts to give, and good easy meals the kids like, and this one was a winner. There are probably others here too so enjoy. Bon Appetit!

I made one of these once a long time ago, as MOPS craft actually. I always meant to do one again. These gifts are fun to put together. Thanks for the website and the reminder!
