DO NOT CALL
We’ve finally arrived in the 21st century! In honor of my 39th bday (which is coming up soon but I’m still 38 today!), my in-laws blessed us with a cell phone to call our very own. And this evening, after reading directions and figuring out how to charge the battery (I’m a little slow…), I activated it and added some minutes, mostly so it would be of some use while we’re on vacation (one of those times when it might actually come in handy). I still have reading to do (like how to turn down - or off - the volume and make it not dance around when it rings), but it’s seems to be up and running and we will enjoy slowly figuring out what the confusing keys mean and how to use it. Boy am I techno-challenged (this has been a test of my flexibility and willingness to learn new things!). Bottomline, this is great for emergencies but that’s probably about it. We are landliners still and will be for some time yet.
