Blog Adventures

I do enjoy them (though I don’t often take time to read them). One of my favorites lately is “Adventures in Mercy“. I love how she writes (like I think!) and while I can’t say I’ve read everything she’s written nor that I agree with it all either, it really is encouraging to me. Perhaps you too would like to peruse the thoughts of another mom (even further north than me - Alaska!) who is on a journey with God that takes her to unexpected places (and people). I d0n’t write much - she writes a lot. I think a lot though and a lot of what she writes is good for me to think about. :-) I found her relatively recent entries of “Bare Bones Christianity” (7/14) and the one about “Culuture Wars” (7/3) especially interesting. I also like her lighthearted entries and found the family update from 7/7 fun too - esp. the comment about it being the warmest winter. Reminded me of how we felt about swim lessons last year when we commented to each other (on July 1st when it was 50 degrees or maybe even less for the umpteenth day in a row and our kids were icicles) about what a lovely “September” day we’d had the day before. Hot chocolate post-lesson last year was a necessity not a luxury. Enjoy!

You’ve both done well — Amazing what you can do when you must — Ain’t it :-)

    Lean on Psalm 91.

    We love you both.
