Vacation
Ok - so about that vacation we came back from, it was great. We were gone Sunday to Saturday to a nice resort in the NW corner of NJ (Vernon) with my parents. We went to a waterpark (a first for all of us), ate ice cream, played mini-golf, swam in a half dozen pools there at the resort (including a “kids sprayground” and a pool that was a “year-round outdoor pool” - very fun!), went out for a nice “dress up” dinner, and frankly just enjoyed resting, reading and having fun. I even got some sleep! My sister and her family also joined us for two days and the kids loved playing with “cousin Jackson” (and speculating whether their new cousin - to arrive in mid to late December - would be a boy or girl.
