Just for fun, here’s what we’ve observed at one gas station we walk past as far as prices go the past few days.

Wednesday, 8:00 AM - $2.54/gallon
Wednesday, 10:00 AM - $2.63
Wednesday, 12:00 PM - $2.79
Thursday, 8:00 AM - $2.87
Thursday, 3:00 PM - $3.09

That’s a $0.55 increase per gallon in 30 hours - Wow! And we are expecting them to continue to rise, all they say because of Hurricane Katrina. I guess time will tell. In the meantime, we’ll keep walking!
