Another impersonal entry - but this one’s about books
Yes, someday we’ll take the time to write something more “personal” and “meaningful” (I’m short on words these days) but here’s an article that made me cry. Steve will no doubt roll his eyes but that’s another story and another conversation waiting to be had. Books are meaningful to me and I can relate to the man in this article. Books are living to me (I still cry when I read them even though I know how they end and I know what happens). It’s sad to lose a book, it’s thrilling to find one, it’s a happy thing to share one. The closing of a bookstore is never (in my mind) a good thing but often a necessary thing in this day and age (and yes, I do shop at Amazon . . . ). Anyway, I hope those of you out there who love books as much as I do will enjoy this article as much as I did.

I understand,
Thanks for sharing
In an ever-changing life and World, books are a necessary constant - (roots - like the Old Testament). Perceptions of and insights into what we read change, but not the written word.
“JOY = An easy chair, an ottaman, a fire, a glass of wine and a good book.”
