It’s only just begun.
Ok - I can’t believe I’m writing this. Here I am, 1/4 of 8 in the morning sitting at the computer and the older kids just left for school. Sounds normal so far. But it has been a one of a kind morning. You see, the Red Sox season opener is on as we speak. Yes, it started at 6 am and we’re at the bottom of the 5th now (they’re playing in Japan). And we let the kids watch it. Can you believe it? Breakfast in the den, watching baseball. What is the world coming to? And Elizabeth it turns out is our little family announcer. After Emily and Matthew had left the game to brush teeth and put on their coats, she kept running back and forth to the kitchen to tell us “Daisuke struck him out” “Julio Lugo is at bat!” “He got a foul…” And her pronunciation and analysis were all correct. Oh my. And the season has just begun!
